When you call the Kelly Foundation, Maggie Chafin will probably be the one answering the phone. And if you listen carefully, more than likely you will hear jazz playing in the background. Maggie began her journey at Serenity Park back in 2000. Throughout the years, she has held many positions ranging from outpatient counselor to administrative duties. In July of 2007, she transitioned into the Kelly Foundation and began working with Victor Varnado. Maggie literally “holds down the fort” when Victor and Larry Gaines are traveling leading Recovery Dynamics training and seminars.

Maggie, who has been in recovery since 1991, is dedicated to carry on Joe McQuany’s mission. Each day she talks to people all over the world who are seeking recovery. Her favorite part of each day is hearing how much Joe McQ meant to them and how much he means to their recovery.
